Available for lease is 190 acres in Green County. This is an archery and muzzleloader deer lease and turkey hunting lease only. No hunting during the 9-day gun season. Deer hunting access is limited to August 1st through January 31st. This lease will renew on June 1st each year. This property has a lot of diverse habitat on it. It has rolling hills and valleys with a mix of hardwoods, pines, grasses, and crops. Lots of areas for the deer to hide out. Plenty of deer sign was observed during my inspection. Trails, beds, tracks, and rubs were all visible. There are several mature trees throughout the property for stand locations. The rolling hills and valleys will also make some great locations for ground blinds as well. Some areas of the property have cattle on them so care is needed when hunting those areas. The landowner tells me that he often sees deer eating in the same area as the cattle. The landowner is near the property daily so it is well protected. There are also gates on the property so care and respect is needed when traveling through them. If you open a gate close it after you have passed through it. The landowner asks that any off season visits be approved by him. He would also like the makes and plate numbers of the hunters vehicles. Please contact the leasing agent before any inspection visits are planned. The landowner would like to meet with the hunters initially and also asks that he be notified before each visit with a text or voicemail. The landowner retains Coyote Hunting rights. Respectful use of ATV’s are allowed for hunting related activities only when weather and ground conditions permit. Camping is allowed with permission from the landowner as to where. No nails, screws, or screw in tree steps are allowed. No fence climbing. No trash or litter left behind. No mushroom hunting. No food plots. Close all gates. Do not block gates.
