Fleming County Kentucky Hunting Lease
Here is a property located in a very notable county known for producing large bucks. This is a working farm that sits right on the cusp of several terrain features including row crops, pasture, and large chunks of forestland. The majority of the property is fairly flat and is either in soybeans, cool season grass hay and field corn or silage (as of 2021). Deer frequent these areas on a regular basis and are no stranger to the fields. Hunters can focus on the streambanks, ditches, and other forested areas within the perimeter of the fields. Theses are heavily traveled corridors that deer use when traveling from one location to the next. I jumped several from their beds during my inspection. Hunters are encouraged to use archery, crossbow and muzzleloading/shotgun equipment. The landowner requests that no one uses a modern rifle on the northern most section of the farm and ask him about obstacles to be conscious of prior to the Nov. gun season. ATV use is allowed, but riders must treat the landowner’s fields with respect. Not riding through his crops, damaging plants, or creating ruts in the hay fields.
