Delaware County New York Hunting Lease

Delaware County, NY Hunting Lease

Listing Description

Base Camp Leasing has a 318 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Delaware County, New York. This property is located less than 10 miles from Walton, New York. The hunting lease is in WMU (4W). I saw lots of deer sign and a flock of turkeys on my inspection. This property has a road on the east border. I drove this road and it is heavily posted. The property goes severely uphill from this road. Probably not an access location. The lease on the south-western corner comes to the blacktop and has an established trail that follows the south border a little over halfway to the back of the property then the trail winds back to the north west corner. The trail has been well maintained and made for easy walking. There is some elevation to this property as it goes uphill from both roads to the north-west corner. There is a very nice flat area in the north -west section. The established trail had many rubs and scrapes from last year. There is an old home-made ground blind at the top that is in an excellent location for a ladder stand. This is a big chunk of woods that would provide for many stand locations. ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes. There is no location to park a camper.

Delaware County, NY Hunting Lease

Listing Description

Base Camp Leasing has a 289 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Delaware County, New York. This property lies 60 miles east of Oneonta, New York. The hunting lease is in WMU(4R). The lease has .4 of a mile of road frontage and is over 1.3 miles deep. I saw excellent deer sign in and around the front fields. Turkeys should also come to the fields. There's an excellent established trail that takes you buy the old farm to the rear of the property. The established trail lies between two hills and follows the stream to the back of property. There was quite a few oak trees just past the fields in the south west section of the lease. I saw a lot of deer sign in this area. The hidden field on the east side had a major deer trail in south west corner. The property has a series of stone fences that go 3/4 of the way to the back property line on south border. The front field has current sign of being used by a farmer. The fields behind this have not been worked in a few years. They would make great food plots. Property is very easy to walk. It is posted. Camping and ATV use are allowed for hunting purposes. There is an established trail just past field (east side).
