Chippewa County Wisconsin Hunting Lease
Every county just seems to have those spots that have more deer than anywhere else in that county. This property and the landowner's other property 6005 just seem to be that. The amount of deer sign I saw for miles before and into the landowner's property was truly impressive. It was 1:30 pm in the afternoon and I had to see over 30 deer combined in various surrounding fields already out feeding. The deer trails crossing the country roads in some places were literally every 50 yards or so. I was also impressed with the number of turkeys I saw including a flock of Toms coming out of the southern wooded area of this property just as I was leaving. The largest buck pictured in the listing was regularly seen on this farm during the archery season and then was taken on the landowners other property approximately 3/4 mile away. The other deer pictured in the listing were taken on this farm. There are two wooded areas one each on northern and southern side of the property. A small pond and creek, along with the agricultural help to round out this hunting lease. There are a couple of spots on the property that the landowner had in the past put in food plots and those might still be an option for whoever leases it. If you want to add another 80 acres to your hunting lease, if available check out property 6005 which this landowner also owns and is approximately 3/4 mile away. All legal game is yours to hunt. Respectful use of ATV for hunting related activities is okay as well as camping with permission from landowner as to when and where. He is also okay with food plots with his permission as to where and what type. He would like a call prior to coming to the land primarily to help minimize any presence on the property while you are there hunting.

If one only looked at the aerial on this property without seeing it in person or looking at the other pictures I took during my inspection, you may wonder why Base Camp is listing a property that appears to be just open ground. Wow I was surprised when I pulled up to the property. The entire eastern half of the property is dense CRP type vegetation along with other shrubs and trees. Hard to imagine this property not being a primary bedding area and home for wildlife. Couple that with the other half being in crops this should be a quality hunting lease. The northern edge of the property also contains a nice ATV access road and row of hardwood type trees. This is a deer and turkey hunting lease. Camping is allowed for hunting-related activities but cannot block access to any agricultural plantings or harvests. Respectful use of ATV for hunting related activities is also okay when weather and ground conditions allow.
