Champaign County Illinois Hunting Lease
Here is a Champaign County lease that is open to all legal game. The farm is made up of timber with good underbrush, row crops, and a seasonal stream. The underbrush is mostly made up of bush honeysuckle and it is thick in certain areas of the farm. You can enter the property from either the south or the west side. I entered from the west side across the railroad tracks and parked there. There were quite a few deer tracks along the edges of the row crop fields and throughout the property itself. When I was on the farm it truly felt like suburban hunting with the road and buildings around you. Based on the way this property lays out, more than likely you will only be able to use a bow when hunting deer. I do not see a place on this farm where you can legally hunt 300 yards from an occupied dwelling. Also, if I am understanding the city map (see in photos), this property is not considered within city limits, as the red boundary line goes around this farm. However, you can verify this for yourself but by all indications I have seen, it is outside city limits. Lease runs from date leased through 1 June *No trucks are to be driven on the farm *ATV use permitted for hunting purposes only *Open to all legal game *Nails and screw-in steps are prohibited
