Butler County Nebraska Hunting Lease
A quick late summer inspection shows this property off very similar to what you might find in one of those steep hillside farms of Iowa, lots of topography giving plenty of seclusion. There are terraces in the row crop fields and hidden patches of woods over the rolling hillsides. The road runs along the east boundary allowing access points along wooded draw edges or a crop field terrace. This property will have plenty of field edge scrapes and buck rubs once the rut kicks in. There is no shortage of big buck habitat in this area, I would love to have some trail cameras on this farm! Highly suggest an inspection of this lease and a tour of the area. Nebraska, most underrated big buck state, this area can produce giants!

Multi use hunting property, with mostly a waterfowl hunting appeal. There are 2 ponds and one large pond. I found ducks flying into the large pond and others down on the water, landowner tells me he’s never seen neighbors hunt on their parts of that pond. Geese are also known to fly into the property. One of the smaller waterholes also had a bunch of ducks, see the photos. Landowner tells me he saw a good group of turkeys a few days before my inspection. Landowner does put cattle in the property after harvest, not for very long on bean years. The dear migrate over to the crops from neighboring properties contain very good habitat. 2022 appears to be a bean year based on annual crop rotation. Going to be some excellent early season deer hunting at waterholes and creak draw, deer like a good drink coming from their bedding areas. Landowner has a blind and a couple stands that will be coming off the property soon I am told. Not too far from Lincoln or Omaha Nebraska, just over an hour I would say.
