Beltrami County Minnesota Hunting Lease
This property stretches for over ¾ miles long. It should hunt much larger than 78 acres due to the shape. About half of this property is nice high dry ground and the other half is lower swamp ground with the Necktie River flowing through it creating the western boundary. While inspecting this property I was impressed with how many mature oak trees there are. I know a lot of deer will be under them when the acorns start dropping. I found nice trails and buck rubs all over this piece. I jumped deer in two different spots on the property. When I pulled up to the lease there were a group of hen turkeys where I parked. While walking the property I could hear gobblers in two different directions. When I got back to the car there were two toms strutting within 50 yards of it. I’m sure there’s plenty of grouse in the area as well as bear. The Necktie River is stocked with trout and should make for some fun fishing. I spotted a few while walking along the banks. Camping is allowed (no water or electricity). Great ATV access for hunting.
